@Oscarmax – thanks for that, I have also just read that it is very unlikely to be so as the car has not been “homologated” yet – you learn something new everyday
I am under the impression the the new model will share the same floor pan and transmission as the Nissan sold in the US, I believe the US version uses the 2.5 litre engine only, and the other markets will use the existing 2.4 ICE unit, not sure whether they have increased the battery size, the new floor pan is designed to accommodated a larger battery capacity.
If I was in the position to renew I would go straight for the Dynamic Safety AP £1999, we love our and would consider extending the lease.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
