It seems a bit crazy that the sensible option is to cancel and start again.
How would you feel if the price increased by £200, would you be happy to pay the new AP… It’s just the way it is, a bit of a gamble.
Talk to the dealer and see if they will help (It’s always worth having that conversation before making the order in the first place), but if they aren’t willing to, would you still cancel and risk waiting even longer for your new car? After all, it’s only £100 and yesterday you were expecting to pay that anyway!
We hear about lots of customers complaining that as a Motability customer, they don’t get treated very well, I can see sometimes why dealers feel that way if they have lots of customers continually ordering and cancelling, and then maybe leaving them with a car they have ordered but no customer, that some (Not all) ask for upfront payments and maybe don’t treat us as well as they might if we were a ‘Normal’ customer
