    Sorry late reply guys. Hope you’re both well. I hope everyone here is.

    @ajn
    I received a letter for recall so I rang up and booked it in. I’ve asked for a car while the work is done so will drive straight home once dropped off.
    They did tell me I could wait but that I would have to wait outside!!!! (I think that deserves four exclamation marks)

    I agree with your sentiment about dealers.

    @72dudes. It’s not been in for the hard seat yet as the slot was postponed and to be honest I’ve given this a lot of thought and don’t think it will go anywhere.
    Will they replace a seat?
    I honestly think I’ll just go round in circles with it.
    I’ve already been lied to.
    I asked them to check the system for the indicator clicking sound. Mine goes off and sometimes doesn’t come on at all. This means that I go to engage it again, thinking it’s knocked off,  but it’s on. I’m honestly, mildly concerned that I’ll break the stalk.
    The response to this was. “We’ve not heard of this before.” I called the service guy out and said that I know of at least two (from forums) who have had theirs in the same dealer for this issue. There was silence in response.

    I actually checked this (indicator sound) for MOT criteria and it actually doesn’t have to be there. There needs to be only either a visual or audible warning but both are not essential.
    So even this will be a runaround of them saying it’s fine and me saying it’s not working then back to the dealer, and so on.

    Tomorrow will certainly be fun……

    It’s being a hell of a time at the moment. In and out of hospital, booked ops, cancelled ops, (for one op, I’m on my fourth pre-op now!) drugs I’ve been on for years suddenly giving some bad side effects.
    I just want a bit of peace……..

    I’m in a, ‘I don’t know whether to laugh or cry moment’. ?

    Heeeey, I’m laughing. ??

    ? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
