Sadly, don’t think Cupra cars will get on the scheme. They are marketed as high performance models and even the “slow” versions are too sexy to allowed near Motability. The e-hybrid version of the Leon, for example, has a small 1.4L motor plus electric stuff which will take it from 0-60 in some 6.7secs. I believe it meets all the moral criteria to get on the scheme. But, there again, so does the VW Polo GTi which steadfastly refuses to appear on the scheme. I fear the Cupra range will be the same.
Shhhh Tharg, keep away from 0-60 times and Motability, my new Kona can hit that in 6.4 sec!!! As long as you can keep the wheelspin down that is 😉
