Of all the cars I’d say the Tiguan elegance is the best available at at decent price point.
ive got an XC40, it nice, well put together, ‘premium’ hate that word for cars, comfortable BUT poor mpg on b4, 1900miles and 24.9mpg.
My sister owned an x1 for over 3 years n I drove it quite a bit, the ride is definitely harsher than the XC40, I drive is excellent.
I cant comment on the q3 as it’s not to my taste so didn’t bother.
As for engine size I share your thoughts, 150bhp isn’t great but for everyday driving it is acceptable.
Think about keeping your current Tiguan longer as I don’t really think there’s a car cheap enough on the scheme atm to warrant a move.
