I looked at the price for this car on Parkers based on 30 000 miles:
Audi A5 Coupe S Line 2.0 TDI 190PS Quattro S Tronic auto 2d 2018/68
Prices came back as: Private Price £17,510 – £19,785, Dealer price £20,605 – £21,220. It is actually on sale through a Dealer for £20 000 with 49 000 miles. Cost of car new was £38670 +£700* +£675* = £40045.
*Cost of Delivery, which Motability have to pay, aprox £700 and Metallic paint at £675.
Selling at £20 000 is £50% retained value and selling at at £18 000 is 45% retained value
Coupled to the fact that the discount at 14% is a tad high, BMW offer 10% against the 1 series and X1 and 12% against the 3 series. (Historical actual figures).

Motability would be looking at a minimum Advance payment of £6000 without allowing for fluctuations in the second hand market, more realistically £8000 plus. Still a very good deal.
