I had an adapted car hire car from a company in London on Motability behalf a couple of years ago and noticed the satnav had all the location the car had been to by the previous hirer, on there behalf I deleted them.
I always make sure the infotainment centre is reset before handing my cars back as apart from having all your recent location in them they also have all your contacts too if you’ve connected your phone to the car.
Now we got connected cars with built in SIMs card with no control over what data there storing.
