Cheers, Brydo. The Czech Tatra’s designs are just in equal parts beautiful, balanced shapes and eccentric engineering that I thought folks would like to see one. Shame they died out as car makers (still make trucks). No secret that a Tatra design inspired Dr Porsche’s Beetle; the early “teardrop” Saab’s are closely related too. You’ll know that I am an admirer of Citroen’s original DS; Tatra is the only other maker who came close to adding elegance to panache in a popular motor car. The firm still rolls out some concept designs, apparently just for fun, none ever get made, I think. Just Google “Tatra concept cars” then sit back and enjoy.
