@Brydo Thanks for asking about Mrs T. She continues to improve, albeit slowly. Becoming more mobile but unable to walk dog (neighbour friend helping). Op was months ago now but the incision is still v painful and restricting so she contacted the surgical team and has an appointment with ’em on Monday.
Sorry if we’ve shocked you with the cussing thing. As I say, it is a professional hazard for journo’s. Moreover, Mrs T did Old English as part of Literature degree and became attached to the origin(s), and sound, of what we now call swearing. Must add that she and me are the only folks in the house so no-one else to get offended. We moderate the “nostalgic” nature of exclamations if there are guests (unless they’re other journo’s).
