One to check out brydo,is the semi conducter issue, the chips for cars in short supply,some factories have been closed for a week , or cut back production,not just the covid problem ,but due to lack of these chips so cars getting longer for delivery. According to the Financial Times the chip shortages are due to lockdowns around the World.
Not as you would expect because folk can’t get to work or who are to sick to make chips but because of folk furloughed there all buying game consuls, laptops and the likes to keep busy at home and I can vouch for that having renewed my TV with it’s latest PC chips on board.
Apparently the motor industry only use about 10% of the Worlds chips so don’t carry any clout when demanding there orders are fulfilled and there’s more money for chip manufactures in chips for 5G phones and Sony Playstations than cars.
