Have to agree, WMCforum. This government is about as far from a Communist state as you can get. In fact, if Boris and pals had got their way and privatised the NHS then the death toll from Covid would be exponentially larger. Paying from the vaccine from one’s own pocket would would be crippling enough. If you needed an ICU, and don’t have private health care, then sell your house and hope.
It could be argued that the only good thing to have come out of the pandemic is the delay of the privatisation plans.
