I have never had any issues changing tyres when I don’t feel they grip well enough. Motability have always authorised it and obviously kwik fit are happy to do it. The only issue I have is the actual tyres they used. £108 each for our old qashqai but wet rated D. The £112 ones were wet rated B but I was told motability insist on the poorer set.
