    Hi Mike,

I bought a second hand folding Pride Quest, which is identical to the TGA Minimo, and it has an expensive lithium-ion battery on board, which holds it’s charge much better than the cheaper standard batteries on the Zoom Four take apart scooter I also have.

This cost between about £1600 and £2300 ish new, but I bought mine at a lot less even though it was only 2 years old and hardly used.

The weight on this when folded for lifting is around 26 kg, which is about 58 lbs, so quite heavy for one person to lift, but it will carry around 18 stone ,for a good 10 -12 miles without further charge, and is quite strong & solid compared to the very lightweight scooters, and has both front and rear lights.

There is no taking apart, it just folds and you can wheel it along like a suitcase.

I bought a Hercules Light weight push along folding lift ( 6 kg )from Solax , at the same time and use this occasionally btw, it runs off the scooter battery – look on you tube!
