Whilst talking about spec on the Q3, can I ask those who may be more familiar with them than me a couple of questions?
When shortlisting cars for our forthcoming change I listed all the features that I consider to be ‘essential’ in a car and as long as I add the Comfort and Sound Pack (£1,195) then the Q3 ticks all those boxes. I also have a list of ‘preferred’ equipment and there were a few things that I couldn’t see mentioned as either standard or optional equipment. We have already discussed keyless access but I can’t find any mention of Adaptive Headlights either? The standard headlights are LED and it seems that you get High Beam Assist if you buy the £800 pack that includes Adaptive Cruise, but I can see no mention of proper adaptive headlights (the ones that ‘cut out’ oncoming traffic from your full beam and then ‘fill in the gap’ as soon as that car passes). I’ve had that on my last few cars and would miss it.
Also, whilst I have never owned a car with Head Up Display I have driven a BMW with it and would add it if the cost wasn’t prohibitive. Again, I can’t even see it listed as an option on the Q3, which surprised me given that the Audi Sat Nav and Digital Cockpit is so good. Am I missing something regarding these features? Thanks.
