Phil, you are correct with saying motability won’t help fund the purchase of your vehicle at the end of the lease.
Say if your lease ends & you choose to purchase that vehicle funded by yourself, it becomes your privately owned vehicle.
You presumably still have a further 12+ months left on your benefit then you are able to place an order for a new lease vehicle. I hope this makes better sense 🙂
