    I’ve got to say I’m not new to driving off road or hazardous conditions.

    The only difference I could tell with the auto was the lack of engine breaking, I got round that by putting it in sports mode which tightened the engine braking a bit, I felt the Xdrive kick in a few times but nothing drastic.

    Basically I used eco mode for up hill and sports mode down hill.
