Unfortunately we are restricted to keep the scheme cost effective and so it doesn’t draw attention to the media as it has in the past.
motability have cars cars around 38k in the scheme so other than insurance I fail to see why most cars can’t be on the scheme.
Sure we all want a car to do it’s job and some aren’t bothered but there’s people like me who are petrolheads and a lot of the cars aren’t desirable but that’s not motabilitys problem.
I wish we could get cars of a certain value, let’s say 40k any manufacturer or 2nd hand 25-30k up to a year old to HP. The restricted insurance groups won’t help that cause.
The public just think ‘free’ car and that we should be grateful.
