Yes manufacturers do use third party companies to make parts and have for years but they are costed and spec d to their own vehicles otherwise you could use any Manufacturers part on any car.
Ive found with every French car I’ve owned they’re very comfortable, economical and relaxing to drive but it’s not long before they rattle, trim breaks and electrical gremlins start.
A great shame because they make some great looking cars.
