I think you’re right about the Life spec having pretty much everything needed.
With EVs it’s often best to have the smallest wheels on offer as the range & ride are better.
Range from the 58kW battery is said to be pretty good as the ID3 is efficient.
However, watch out for the Skoda, it’s worth looking at.
