So the Kona electric IS now available on Motability and I went to view yesterday. I am seriously considering getting this for the next car and the boot looks to be okay as long as it is a manual chair that can fold then I think it’ll either work with one wheel removed ( or definitely with both off). A rigid frame chair might also fit as boot depth at floor level is 70cm but decreases to maybe 50cm at rear seat top.
Ioniq has more rear boot space, but the opening has less height so in my view that would probably be more difficult.
Interested to know if anyone has taken the plunge yet and what they think
