I think it is important to think about which cars the Leon is trying to compete with and judge it against them. For me the Leon isn’t really up against the BMW/Merc so I wouldn’t expect it to feel as good as them. I think it’s competing with the likes of Renault/Honda/Ford etc so that’s what I’d compare them with.
I also think it’s too early to say that this Leon won’t be remembered as well as the previous model as it hasn’t been around very long. I don’t think the Cupra has even been released yet.
I’m also a bit confused with the deep into triple figures comment. I assume that means you were travelling at well over 100mph and probably close to the cars top speed?
