If this is the case with regards someone else collecting and putting the pin in then that’s one obstacle out the way, but how I understand it is that that person would have to be a appointee and to do so would require a home visit which negates the dealership visit.
I just can’t believe how this company a charity who is working directly with the UK government can’t see a better alternative than basically screw you come down here choose ya car, come back when it’s probably going to be worse Xmas time/January and oh well you’re vulnerable? Not our problem.
With the world all digital they have my pip papers, my address, my sons license is linked to the DVLA but that’s too easy a person in the dealership needs to see those papers !!! Why makes no sense and it’s not because of fraud because there isn’t any photographic evidence apart from the license which isn’t me
