Another point regarding EV bays is that the positioning of the socket on some cars do not lend themselves to being correctly parked in the bay as the leads are too short.
Some have to park half and half.
And why aren’t they covered like petrol stations? Standing at a machine for 20 mins trying to make a payment in the rain can’t be fun. ??
