M Sport sounds great! It’s definitely gone onto my ‘Maybe’ list.
I currently drive the Golf GT, so not ‘floaty’ – medium-firm, I guess. ON a normal day I can still take a firm-ish ride, just not a ‘hard’ ride. We had a Renault Clio Cup a few years ago that felt like the suspension was made of brick. Tons of Fun on the back roads, but it sure didn’t help my then-only-slightly fractured spine!
In an Ideal World (where I could afford it) a car with variable (magnetic) suspension settings would be best. As I recall, DH’s last TT had Eco, Soft and Sport modes (or settings to that effect), so he could dial it down when I was a passenger or the roads were particularly bad, then tighten everything up in Sports mode when we hit decent stretches of duel carriageway. I loved that feeling – as though the car actually tensed up and hunkered down ready for a sprint. 🙂
