    Thank-you, My Lord!

M Sport sounds great!  It’s definitely gone onto my ‘Maybe’ list.

I currently drive the Golf GT, so not ‘floaty’ – medium-firm, I guess.  ON a normal day I can still take a firm-ish ride, just not a ‘hard’ ride.  We had a Renault Clio Cup a few years ago that felt like the suspension was made of brick.  Tons of Fun on the back roads, but it sure didn’t help my then-only-slightly fractured spine!

In an Ideal World (where I could afford it) a car with variable (magnetic) suspension settings would be best.   As I recall, DH’s last TT had Eco, Soft and Sport modes (or settings to that effect), so he could dial it down when I was a passenger or the roads were particularly bad, then tighten everything up in Sports mode when we hit decent stretches of duel carriageway.  I loved that feeling – as though the car actually tensed up and hunkered down ready for a sprint. 🙂
