I’ve been trying to find a golf for you. I thought I’d found the Golf Life 1.0tsi manual which appeared to be an easy choice as it was the only one available for u25. I’m now confused as you can spec that model/engine on the vw site but when I looked on vw’s motability list that model isn’t on there.
Hopefully someone here can explain what’s going on there. If not, you might have to speak with motability or a vw dealer to see if there are any golfs available for u25.
I think I spotted a Leon FR 1.0 on the motability list so that might be worth looking into.
If you need an auto, the Focus ST line x or Corolla GR sport could be good. The Focus looks good value.
