<p style=”text-align: left;”>The granny charger which uses the 3 pin plug only draws 2.2Kw at 10 amps, it also has a heat sensor in the plug which will cut it out if it overheats. I use mines regularly, in a proper outside socket, and there’s never been an issue with it heating up… I do check it.</p>
The problem with poorly fitted chargers is the same as with anything that’s popular is that inferior workmen (cowboys?) flood the market with cheap quotes and poor quality of service, people would rather save a penny than get the job done properly.
We might be at the start of a massive population cull… if not now then won’t be long ☹
