We had the newer standard prius, in the summer we got 85-90mpg when driven right. The “plus” model is based on the older prius so less mpg. Lovely relaxing car but Toyota have set it up to turn on the engine to get optimum heat level for efficiency. This sometimes causes the tick over to run high, bloody annoying at standstill & not very efficient. Crazy!
