If they cannot provide a car for my handover date 3 months after ordering then it would be a non starter for me. Maybe thats why they said what they did and lied to you.
Bmw was a NS from the start because i want adaptive cruise and it’s part of a driving pack at £1500 i think, on top of any car they sell..
Where as the honda i got it came as standard. done almost 2000 miles now in the last 2 months since getting it after lockdown scupperd the handover in april. Car was there at the dealers since feb and some people maybe prepared to wait and extend. I beg to differ why should i pay the same for a car thats older than i do for a brand new one.. After 3 years i want shot of it and want a new one. If a dealer cannot do that i not intrested. It’s what i pay for after all from my allowance. So i don’t blame you if you cancel get something else/ nor if you wanna wait for however long they say, that’s your or others choice. but to me if i was leasing a car from a company and they said you gotta wait and pay the same rate i’d be like there no way in hell i doing that.
