Weather: chucking it down all day. Rubbish.
Kitchen: Busy. Crab-apple thing has set fine. Seems to taste OK. Shall inflict it on neighbour and see what she thinks (one of our original Miss Marples, perhaps, at 86 yrs, the most adventurous though – flown in Tiger Moth and Spitfire, just ‘cos she could.) I am in process of making tomato chutney. Had to use up the whingers somehow. Seems to be thickening??
Must agree about Adsa bakery. Quite the best of the lot; from thick crusty sandwich loaves to sweet pastries.
