Something I do wonder about, and this is regarding the discussion of governments needing to recoup the lost revenue from the lost ICE fuel tax, is that, what could stop households investing in a home charge set-up using solar. Once the equipment had paid for itself, it’d be free fuel! Or am I missing something?
If it cost £5k for the gear, a household spending £50 per week would take only 2 years to recoup the cost of the equipment.
