Hi Brydo, it is mostly free, sadly my county of Moray is one of the few that do charge. I had a Nissan Leaf on the scheme for 3 years and I think with charge at home as well as out and about, my 27,000 miles cost about £220 in total. The problem was the range of only 100 miles but not bad.
