we are still a few years away from an adequate infrastructure for EV’s. There are too few charging points, yes its good now, but sell a few more EV’s and you will be waiting in a queue to charge your vehicle, wait until this winter arrives and see what happens.
If you have limited mobility, then indeed the whole package is ten times more difficult than for an able bodied person.
I still think EV’s will be usable in about 5 years. It all depends on how the govt are going to manage home charging installations and public charging stations.
