I didnt take the correct paperwork when ordering my car at the dealer, who asked for my proof of entitlement. It was no problem as motability can check your entitlement using your National Insurance Number.
S0, Chris – The dealer should take your order, and sign you up.
Then you should get an email from motability with your CRN Custome Reference Number, and it may take a day or so for Motability to check you are indeed entitled and the order is approved.
My order was approved next day…so its not really a problem. You will need to take your driving license and the license of any other named driver who is going to drive the car.
