i think for a lot of disabled people its difficult to get in salon type cars , id love a mer a class salon c class or bmw 3 serious but in reality i could not get in or out comfortable so like a lot of disable i need a high up suv style car. i think when we pick a car i think we like i think we should be given the same car to try for a week or so , so we can see if we are sore in the car
Indeed martino. Unfortunately, some Motability customers appear to go for style over substance. I would have loved a little Mazda MX-5 when it was on the scheme for instance… but seeing how the seats were about 3 inches off the tarmac and I would have had to have been ‘The Amazing Rubber Man’ in order to get in & out of it – I reluctantly crossed the little beauty off my list the following day.
Five days later & wanting to change cars? I wouldn’t be surprised if Motability told you to sling your hook!
