Elon Musk is an arrogant if brilliant businessman, whose main interest is himself and making money.
Of course he won’t have heard of Motability.
Tesla offer no discounts to anyone. With the US economy in the state it’s in, discounts are going to be even more scarce.
The Motability lease model relies on discounts. Lower manufacturer discounts mean a higher AP for us.
So whilst I know many of you would love a Model 3, please don’t hold your breath. The base model is £43k, it’s never going to happen, sorry.
Add to that iffy build quality and a growing Tesla hate campaign in the US (admittedly not here yet), I’ll stick to my lovely gas guzzling XC40 thanks, which by the way has slightly better official fuel consumption figures than the MG HS auto with a smaller less powerful 1.5 engine. ?
