for those veterans out there dont forget there is a grant available if you need an automatic due to the injury that you get wpms etc for. its straight forward and not means tested you just ring motability and ask to speak to grants dept its a simple form and could get you up to £640 towards the ap.
i dont know if theres anything similar for pip.
