I’m not trying to land on either side of the fence. I’m simply saying most people will do something that could invalidate insurance. Another popular one is to re-code cars to add/alter certain functions but what this is doing is altering the trim level and so if discovered, may invalidate insurance. So no different at all to changing speakers. ?
