I am in a fortunate position, the GP is just down the road so I can pop down on my scooter, in our little village we have Shrugbrough Hall and the West Midlands Canals, plus a good hourly bus service.
So yes I could in theory do without a car at a push, however I would not be able to see my grandson who lives 36 miles easily and to be honest life is so much easier with a car.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
