Not a hope. Even if I could still use buses the buses don’t come here any more. (Thanks, Cameron!) I used to go everywhere by bus before all the !$%^&*! happened. Top deck, Front right – ‘Best seat in the house’.
Taxis charge 15% extra (on top of the usual mileage rate) just to come out to pick us up and drop us off. But, having used them in the past (in an emergency) I know I can’t trust the drivers to avoid every pot hole and creep over every speed bump, even after asking repeatedly.
Nearest Doctor, Dentist and Pharmacy is 7 miles away. Nearest Hospital that has all the kit I need is in Guildford.
Luckily, Supermarket delivery lorries usually can manage to get here in all but the worst weather.
