Hi @Brydo I’m in a similar position and looking at either any time now or early Q3.
I suppose the truth of it is no one can say with any certainty what will happen. There’s many variables to consider as you know, the main ones being;
– Will retail (car purchases) have a spike as lockdown relaxes and so causing manufacturers to push back a little to Motability in favour of retail orders?
– Will retail be subdued therefore allowing manufacturers to chase sales and offer Motability more models and better pricing?
Within these two points there are many other variables to consider.
For me, in Wales, where we are under a higher state of lockdown, I am leaning towards waiting. I don’t really want to outlay to only have a car stuck on the drive but then there’s a chance that some models that I’m interested in could drop of the list. Always a possibility I know but I feel that it’s enhanced now if retail picks up meaning the popular makes/models are sought after.
