Update.
Managed to get through to VW\Skoda financial services (only a 37min wait!).
They will extend my lease at the same rate I’m currently paying, so I’ve opted for 2 months. If the Tiguan arrives sooner I can cancel without charge and even get a pro-rata refund for any unused days!. If the Tiguan doesn’t arrive I can phone up and extend it further (up to a max of 6 months). Pretty good service I must say 🙂
