Just finished the Decking, the whole lot was rotten, below and above, and had to be replaced, I am exhausted and had no idea how long it would all take, the only boards I could get were 2.4 m in length and in some lines I had to use three boards, so six cuts per line with my old tenon saw, i’ve got one shoulder like Geoff Capes now. Anyway – it is safe for the family to use but I forgot to put the old wood underneath to store it so I have a mountain of old decking. I’ve read it can’t be burned as it is treated wood. Is this true if i burn it outside on a bonfire?
