Tharg – I’m currently trying to get D3 tablets on prescription, too.  I had blood tests that showed my D3 levels were low, they put me on pills for 6 months, retested and my levels are back up to low-normal.  My MS Specialist and Specialist Nurse say they recommend continuing with the D3; GP gave my 3 months worth and after than I’m supposed to buy them myself.  MS Nurse has sent him a letter asking that he continue prescribing them to me.  I’ve got 6 weeks worth left, so we’ll see – there have higher priorities at the moment, I’m sure.

I had to fight tooth and nail to get Ibuprofen on prescription (also horse-pill dimensions), along with Omeprazole to prevent stomach damage from all the Ibuprofen.  We had the Serious Talk about my taking co-codamol, but I think he was pleasantly surprised when I said “I know the body converts in into Morphine and you don’t mess around with Morphine”.  I don’t think he expects people researching their drugs before tossing them down their throats or sticking them in their arms!  (Especially not rather fat, middle-aged women with slightly mad hair, wearing a purple T-shirt and purple shoes).

As for the car – I console myself that it had a happy life and was loved, and I think it will bring a lot of joy to whoever buys it next.  Seriously – immaculate inside and out, with less than 4k on the clock – what’s not to like?
