    He really needs to get it on record with Motability his intention to return the vehicle, they will arrange for the vehicle to be picked up by the dealership when they are able, if they are unable to do this at least he has evidence he wanted his contract ended and as long as it’s on record then he should be refunded any payments from the end of his original contract even if they leave the vehicle with him for longer. It’s only Motability that can help with this, if he is no good on the phone then suggest he puts it in writing that his contract has ended and does not wish to renew.
