Wife was to go to work with her guide dog, but thats stopped as apparently I am vulnerable. So she is home working till mid August. I am working from home till at least end April. She is on the keyboard in her study and I am on mine in mine…we’ll meet for coffee around 10am.

The dogs seem to prefer her company; well, actually, her study has a big window looking out over the street, so they like to sit and look out for other dogs to bark at. My study is upstairs, so the windows are too high for them to see the street.

So far this week we took the dogs to the forest behind the town (never saw another soul, but that’s normal – its why we take the dogs there for our walks & their free run). I’ll be going to the supermarket on Thursday. Should only need to go once a week if I get what I need in one trip.

Spoke to my family in NZ, its much the same as here, supermarkets empty, sister lost her job. They only have 100 odd cases & no deaths, but the country has gone into full lockdown already. Thankfully my dad built a house on her land last year, so now lives next door, so she can keep an eye on him.

In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
