As DH has been working from home for years and we’ve been getting our groceries delivered for years, ‘self-isolating’ is pretty much our default setting. Other than when I went out and fuelled up the car a couple of weeks ago I haven’t been further than the top of the drive for a month anyway. DH went out as far as the letter box to post 2 x Mothers Day cards last week, but other than that we’ve only been in the house and garden.
Meanwhile I can hear my neighbour playing with her grand-daughter in the garden even as I write. Sounds like son has brought her over for a visit because the schools are shut and they’re already bored . . .
