Not until the charging infrastructure is vastly improved. I’d love an EV as most of my journeys are under 10 miles. Unfortunately my car isn’t close enough to the house and no driveway to fit a charging point.
When I do my longest journeys (120 to 200 miles) most of them on A roads through wild and rural Northumberland, so no chance of finding a charging point and not the sort of place to be dead at the side of the road in the middle of Winter!.
