It was awful what Savile absolutely disgusting along with others who knew & did nothing (yes bbc am looking at you) did but those ads etc are a part of history & need to be preserved somewhere maybe offline where easy access isn’t granted I dunno but it’d be a shame to lose anything cultural like that.
Interestingly enough I know of 3 people who wouldn’t be here had they been wearing seat belts, turns out they were thrown clear or some other fluke happened to save their life in a crash, certainly not an excuse to not wear one, I actually can’t not wear one makes me really uncomfortable
