Agreed, my local Ford (Bristol Street) is excellent, my local Skoda (Pulman) is also excellent but their VW branch is terrible, no interest in Motability sales, it’s an effort for them to find the time of day to even talk to you.
Ordered my Tiguan from Ashley at JCT600 in Wakefield, almost 100 miles away but extremely helpful and courteous plus the added bonus of £600 off the AP, what’s not to like!! 🙂
Getting back to Motability’s benefits, apart from one Kwik Fit branch in Washington I’ve found the service to be excellent. I did get a funny look off the RAC man when he came out for a puncture!, I had to explain that being a large 6′ 5-1/2″ Geordie didn’t automatically mean I could bend down (and certainly not crouch or kneel!) and be able to change my own wheel!!.
