In your position I think I would start phoning round other Skoda dealers in your area to see what other stock Karoqs are available.
Have a back up plan and maybe do the search for a Seat Ateca and VW Tiguan which are essentially the same as the Karoq underneath.
Obviously it’s a shame you got rid of your car in anticipation of the Karoq arriving, but you do seem to have been misled by your dealership.
Have you spoken to the Sales Manager or Dealer Principal to voice your concerns?
